PAC Video Edition Episode One – Moster Power Center PC 700

•September 18, 2007 • Leave a CommentHave you ever wanted to shoot your friends in a team death match, then get killed by their teammate, and then kill the teammate in a last stand with your pistol? WELL NOW YOU CAN!
Recently I’ve been playing a lot of Call of Duty 4’s new beta, and by a lot I mean A LOT. This game is extremely addictive, in fact, so much so that you might have to take Ritalin just to do any work without considering playing it. I literally played the game for more than 4 hours in one sitting.
Also, what’s new is the “Custom Class” feature, which is very similar to the “Persistent Elite Creation” system found in the Rainbow Six games. As you go up in rank and complete more goals, you gain more skills and weapons. One of my favourite skill is the “Last Stand”, as I was describing, which allows you to get killed, but have about 30 seconds (if you aren’t shot while down) to try and kill as many people as you can with your pistol.
The graphics in the game are very, very good, but I wouldn’t say there’s no improvement. The physics are quite nice and things seem to move in a fairly realistic way. But the one thing that really stood out was the sheer, insane amount of content and re-playability.
Well, that just about sums up my preview of Call of Duty 4, and before I leave you, let me say that this could actually be a Halo Killer, unlike “some” other games…*cough*Killzone*cough*…Oh, did I cough, sorry, I think…*barf*…I think…*constipation*…I think I got gonorrhea from thinking about Killzone…Well, I should probably get over to the toilet bowl, so I’ll see you guys later…
Lance Krall Prank Calls
•August 5, 2007 • Leave a CommentSome reason I find these calls absolutely hilarious! Lance Krall used to have a show on Spike TV which included shorts and prank calls which lasted only about 1-3 minutes, but still gave the hilarity of a full 30 minute TV show. I’ve decided to round up all of the prank calls I’ve found so far, and put them on the site. Before you watch anything you should be warned that viewer discretion is advised. Hope you enjoy them!

BlackSite: Area 51 Preview
•May 24, 2007 • Leave a CommentAudio – MP3
Are you still wearing your tin foil hats to protect you from “them” getting into your head? Well first, maybe you should go to the mental clinic at your local hospital, and, after rehabilitation, you can play some BlackSite: Area 51 for your Xbox 360, PS3, or PC to do some extra mental cleansing. Loosely based off of its predecessor, Area 51, BlackSite gives you the power to defeat the evil aliens who are watching your every move. With an extra fast heart beat pulsing with action similar to Resistance: Fall of Man for the PS3, Blacksite makes an excellent game with well tuned aiming, and a generally controller layout, you can easily enjoy the demo released on May 11th on the Xbox Live Marketplace. And, once the full game comes out in September you can join up with other mentally unstable people like you and have all off the fast paced action of the single player online in modes like Human vs. Reborn. So look for a full review hopefully coming up in September.
Halo 3 Beta Initiated!
•May 21, 2007 • Leave a CommentWell, okay, I’m a little late, in fact more than a little late, very late, but the point is all those $60 have gone to a good use, getting into the Halo 3 Beta, and feeling the glory of it’s awesomeness. Alright, maybe I’m exaggerating a little but frankly, the game really is great. The controls work smoothly, has very few glitches for a beta, and there’s a load of other players online all of the time. However there is one massive problem. The graphics just aren’t what I expected them to be. Now I admit this is still in its fairly early stages, but even with that in mind the graphics aren’t as good comparatively as the first and second installments. It looks like maybe a a Halo 2.5 in HD. now let’s get back to the positive side of things, and trust me, there’s a ton of great new things in Halo 3. Some of my favourites include the new Mongoose, which is reminiscent of an ATV on steroids, the detachable machine gun turret, the missile pod, which is basically a mini rocket launcher which holds 8 rounds at once, the Spiker, which is a pistol sized dual-wieldable submachine gun, and the new drop able items such as the shield grenade, land mine, and portable grav-lift. The beta runs until June 6th, when you’ll have to wait another few months to play the game again.
‘Apple? DRM-Free? When!?!?!?’ Well…The problem is…
•May 21, 2007 • Leave a CommentOkay, well, most of you know that in May Apple will be releasing DRM-Free music from EMI for $1.29 on the iTunes store. The thing I’m wondering is:
When in May?
They didn’t hit it on the halfway mark (May 15th, which is my birthday by the way), and so far there hasn’t even been an official press release saying when it’s coming out. I mean, come on! I just want to play some music on my Zune! <<That was a joke just so you know. In fact, the Zune was just a big joke perpetrated by Mr. Bill Gates, sadly no one laughed. In fact this is the cause of global warming, the production of Zunes and then the burning of Zunes by Apple fanboys, both done in large industrial factories which take up approximately the amount of electricity that one small town uses in one month every 10 minutes.
Well, enough with the unnecessarily long jokes. What I’m trying to say is that I just want to know! I don’t understand why they haven’t given a date or anything. So if anyone knows please leave a comment!
Linux with Dell?
•April 21, 2007 • 1 Comment
So apparently Dell is now going to be selling computers running Linux. Why?
- People are cheap
- People HATE windows for some reason
- They can’t afford a Mac
- They just want to stick it up to the man…Well…The computer man.
I personally don’t like Linux, mainly because a lot of the distributions look really crappy. However, Linspire looks okay. And luckily, it also very compatible and comes with a ton of great stuff to get you started. But don’t get me wrong, my next computer will still be a mac…With Bootcamp for Vista.
